Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city located outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash, and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish ethnic groups. Her great-grandfather emigrated to the United States from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash loved the Miami Marlins as a child. Although Nash was a fan of sports since a young age, she had always hoped to become a news anchor. Kelly Nash, a 2006 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson (South Carolina) with a Bachelor in Communication as well as Media Studies. She then graduated from Clemson with Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership in 2009. In exchange for covering the Sports Information Department's teams of Soccer and Baseball, she had been awarded a full athletic scholarship by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host who appears in several shows on the network like the evening highlights program, Quick Pitch. She is also an NHL Network Studio host, appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. She Joined the MLB Network in March 2015 and Began Contributing to the NHL Network in 2015 when NHL Network's on-air daily operations was moved to MLB Network's headquarters.
